ABOUT USThe Placentia Yorba Linda Unified Council of PTAs/PTSAs represents almost 8,000 members at 32 schools in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. The Council celebrates over 50 years of supporting the local units in our district. The Council strives to educate unit leaders, model good parliamentary procedures and advocate on behalf of our members. We also provide thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving graduating seniors annually.The California State PTA membership year is July 1 to June 30. Membership cards in California expire on October 31, allowing a grace period (from July 1 to October 31) for our members to renew their membership. During this grace period, members are entitled to their full membership rights, including approval of the PTA budget and program at the summer or fall association meetings.

Dear Explorer Families,

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow for the first day of school! Please be sure to give yourself extra time, as there will be heavier traffic than normal. We ask that you are cautious and review our Parking Lot Map ahead of time. Be sure that your child knows what they’re eating for lunch, and where to meet you after school. ​

Parents are welcome on campus the first day to walk students to their classroom. We ask that you head off campus after the bell so we can begin our day and secure the campus.

​For ​drop off and pick up, ​parents wait ​on the other side of the cones so students ​can exit gates and be supervised.

The Meet and Greets were a great success thanks to our wonderful PTA, volunteers, teachers and families who attended. We are excited to see you all tomorrow morning!

Parents: Take Care of Business at “Meet & Greet” and support our school. Come meet some of your PTA Board members in front of the Multi-Purpose Room. Tables will be set-up for school play, spirit wear, volunteer sign-ups, and early bird yearbooks!

Also attached below is a copy of the appreciation note that will be sent home with each student on Friday. Feel free to use that for Monday’s gift, or create your own inspired tribute! Please remember that participation in Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is optional. Gifts and donations are not required, but are appreciated. Thank you! 

Hello Bryant Ranch Families! 

Friday is our Explorer Fun Run! We’re grateful for the support we’ve received toward reaching our goal of $60,000. We are getting close!  We will have a school-wide DJ party with activities and popsicles if we reach our goal!
A few sponsors have asked if they can donate by check, and the answer is YES! Be sure the check is made out to “Bryant Ranch PTA,” and send it in with the name of the student and teacher. It will be entered to count towards prizes for the student.

1st-3rd – 8:45am
TK/K – 10:15am
4th/5th – 11:15am

Here are a few reminders before your student participates in the big event:   ● Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on our runners.
   ● Visitors will sign in with a QR code outside of the office. Please scan the code, and show the office the confirmation as you walk through the office to receive your visitor sticker. Doors will open about 10 minutes prior to event time. Thank you!

   ● Have your student get a good night’s rest. Our event will be about 30 minutes of movement.

   ● Make sure your student wears their Fun Run shirt (they’re being passed out soon), appropriate shoes and clothing to move and groove.    ● We recommend that your student has a water bottle with their name on it.
